About Us

           HLH Tyre is a family business that spans through 4 generations over 70 years and counting. We started as a company where we recycled tyres (retreading) for taxi and bus. Seeing how Singapore was growing in the 90s and learning from our counterparts in the tyre industry, we decided to seek to become a tyre distributor. We have been distributing Sumitomo Brand of tyres for more than 30 years and counting. We have been adapting our business as we go along.

            As a family business, especially a in competitive and stressful environment, what is passed down in its legacy are values that transcend the generations where integrity, sincerity, friendship, and fairness are emphasized. The positive effect of the emotional attachment to family help spur and encourage the leaders through tough and difficult times. The recent Covid crisis is and was unprecedented. We had to learn. This also help the leaders to set themselves as role models for the development of the business while it trickles down to the people supporting and working for the company.
